Any experience with JaguarHost?

I was at JaguarHost.org and I like their Bronze Reseller plan. Before I sign up for one year I would like to hear from you here what you think about them? Anyone tried them? Is there better better reseller paln with same price? I like their website speed and I hope that my clients get the same. Thank you for your advice!

Hi AmirX, I had a customer who switched to us for hosting after being with jaguar, they said jaguar unexpectedly suspended their site for using too much cpu. They had a handful of wordpress blogs installed. Moved them to our server and having no issue, so unsure what jaguars issue was. Point of this post is, just take time to read the terms of service. It would be a shame for one client, or your own site to breach the Terms of Service and have their account or even your whole reseller account (and all accounts under it) suspended. I havent had any personal experience so I will not comment further. Hopefully others on the forum will provide more insight. Best of luck!

Now, when I use to look for hosting companies, I always looked at there plans, features, guarantees, and WEB DESIGN! If your website doesn't look professional then I won't be buying anything from that hosting company. To me appearance is what everybody looks at first. Not throwing Jaguar Host under the bus, but the website makes them look like a amateur company. Sorry

Are you sure he was with JaguarHost? There's another, bigger "Jaguar" provider out there. For a second I got the two confused as well. As for Jaguarhost, I doubt anyone can give a review to rely on, since the domain was registered 31 July 2011. http://whois.domaintools.com/http://jaguarhost.org/

Yep, sorry I meant jaguarpc! As for JaguarHost.org according to whoishostingthis.com (http://www.whoishostingthis.com/jaguarhost.org) they are hosted by altushost.com So maybe the better question for this thread is "does anyone have any experience with altushost.com?" Jaguar may provide great support as a company, but that's the main source of value they can add. Uptime and server upkeep will be down to altus.

Really ? It wasn't a cheap design to have made. Is it the cartoon banner for webhosting on the frontpage that gives you that impression? We have multiple banners we can cycle there.

That domain is a page holder , looks like an seo tactic for atlushost, which apparantly doesn't exist. If you can't figure out who the company actually is thats a big red flag. Possibly they are just playing off our name. There's alot companies that try to do that.

Feels like I do not want to get involved with them. I think that the support is very important. I contacted them for 8 hours ago. When are they planing to answer me? Is there any reseller host with similar plan and costs? Thank you in advance.

Hello there. I am a representative of JaguarHost. We suspend for a reason and not randomly. Our web design is custom and we plan for a re-design soon. We are not resellers off anyone. We merely have shared on NozHost, who has a VPS from AtlusHost so the site is always available to clients, no matter what happens to the server. It is also for a security reason. If a hacker managed to exploit jaguarhost.org, the server the clients are hosted on are still not touched. Facepalm at Jag:You're just angry. It's not an SEO tactic and my boss didn't even know about your company. It's not playing off your name. Stop spamming and lying. How about before you make false assumptions, you actually try them out? Atlushost is based in Sweden. JaguarHost servers are based in France.

Lmao, angry? Dude you just did yourself a huge disservice. How could I be angry at some company nobody knows about. The fact that you don't know our brand and market penetration when every major host on the internet does shows where you are my friend. And don't call me a liar, your way out of line. Not our fault nobody can figure out who is behind your .org domain . Good luck

I've never heard of your host so you can't retaliate. Why are you saying "you"? It should be "JaguarHost". How dare you use "you" when referring to JaguarHost. Have you heard of privacy? Whois guard and things like that are there for privacy. How about I do a whois guard on your domain, find out the address and send strippers and make a false party sending people to your address? Whois Guard is there for a reason.

Yes whois guard is there for a reason, it lets unscrupulous businesses hide their details. If you run a legitimate business, then there is no need to hide your details. I can understand, and agree with, domains that are owned by individuals having whois guard, but never a business. Just makes me think what they have to hide. You really need to get off your high horse.

Well, firstly, our address. Not everyone buys an office as soon as they start a hosting business.

I won't be drawn into this trivial meaningless debate. People know who we are and what we do, that's all I care about. Best of luck with your business.
