Posted by xperter, 08-27-2012, 02:32 AM
i just visit webhosting talk and got turnkeyinternt reseller program. i just moved from others host for better service to my client .but i disappointed to say now i got horrible problem after move other host when i bought reseller after 1 day server was down more then 6 hours. within 1 month we got 2 times database conection error. all site showing ""Error establishing a database connection"". when i enter cpanel there shoiwng " "The MySQL® server is currently offline." "" when i ask what happened they don't reply . just make my topic to "private" after 3, 4 hour they said server working without issue. also i faced ftp issue more then 10 days. i cant use ftp normally. and server down 2 times= (1)down time 6 hour, (2) today now 4 hour gone still server not up. and my ticket status showing "private". turnkey internet review : Uptime : 7/10 service 4/10 support 9/10 but server speed and other thing supperb . main problem server long time down and database error problem. hope turnkey internet solve all issue and overcome there problem. if those issue solve i will stay long time with turnkey internet. cause i love there support.

Hmm definitely doesn't sound like you are off to a good start, however I am a bit confused by your review. Initially you essentially say their support is shoddy (but not addressing the problem), then at the end you say you love their support, which one is it?

that means i am using other host , support was worst. but turnkey internet always try to help me. but there server always make me disappointed .

They promise 100% uptime. In fact, it is not.

snipped reference to removed post>> I never experienced any issues with FTP or MySQL when I hosted my own sites with them, but judging by WHT issues do appear to creep up regarding both from time to time. @op I would give them a chance to correct the issues. You're probably on a server with a higher than average number of active resellers, they may redistribute some accounts to correct the issues. Last edited by anon-e-mouse; 08-28-2012 at 07:46 PM.

Maybe the problem because the price is very cheap. You can get 500 gb diskspace for only 50 dollar in turnkey

They don't, they offer a 100% network uptime. Not an overall 100% uptime.

Hello, I used to be a customer of turnkey for a little over a year. I can state that I have never had any issues with the Network Uptime. So I can say (at least) say that they are close to 100% Network Uptime. Server Uptime however is not the same thing as Network Uptime. Honestly my only issue with Turnkey was support, many simple issues took way too many "Escalations" before they were resolved. Sometimes, they would take over 2-3 hours. Other then this, I have no complaints about Turnkey

My uptime wasn't close to 100%, more like 96%

Hello, Was this the server uptime or the overall network architecture?

Posted by Collabora, 09-04-2012, 12:10 PM
this is a good example of what I am always saying. Sometimes a few more miliseconds page load time is worth extra reliability and business stability.

Overall network uptime, i used pingdom for monitoring.

Yeah, you are right.

I can honestly say, that when I have had hosting with TurnKey, there were very few issues! The support team were always helpful, though, sometimes not the quickest to reply. I did have one downtime even, for around 4/5 hours also, but after raising a ticket, this was because of server maintenance (which I feel I should have been notified about in advance). Overall though, I was pretty happy with them!

Wow, I was with TurnkeyInternet for a long time ago. Is this good? I do not think so. I lost two days for setup , everything woks. Hmm, but you ll never want to stay with 100Gb disk space, but limit MySql connections. So when I reach maximum limit with data, my site was stoppoed. Also I decided moving because hackers defaced many customer's sites. They will tell you this is not their wrong configuration. Days by days, you will be tired and go away. My old sc is 32.

Low costs and quality don't go hand in hand most of the time. "but server speed and other thing supperb . main problem server long time down and database error problem." What do you mean by this.. Are you using a translator? I can't understand.

I'm a extremely unhappy customer with them. Have 2 reseller accounts with them but my sites with them having been going down on and off for short periods time for the last 2 months. I have been waiting for them to clear up the issues but it seemed to get from bad to worst. Today is my last straw when i emailed their support regarding sites on one of my reseller accounts have been down for at least 6 hours or more and the support guy has the cheek to say that as my account is on shared hosting, it is inevitable and ask me to upgrade to a vps or dedicated server. What great support and customer service! Oh yeah, I intend to do that and you guess what? I'm definitely not going to choose Turnkey Internet as my hosting provider ever. Period! Albert An extremely frustrated and unhappy Turnkey Internet customer

It appears that the service level has really fallen since I last used them. Possibly the result of one too many fire sales.

Now all my websites are down again.

Posted by Tuguhost, 09-14-2012, 03:36 AM
Hope turnkey get better soon I was using before (about 3 month ago) and the network and server is good. But I don't know what about now

Clients keep none stop complaint... what hurts the most...

Which server are you on? Webserver34 seems to be down.

Posted by tihhc, 09-14-2012, 04:01 AM
Yeah, this one.

Posted by SkyNetHosting, 09-16-2012, 02:34 PM
meaning there's no uptime guarantee for the servers or your website. Btw where do you see this? their TOS doesn't mention anything about uptime and I didnt see any SLA on their site either. Last edited by SkyNetHosting; 09-16-2012 at 02:43 PM.
