How to dublicate website with two servers

Hello, Could someone give me advice how to duplicate one website in two servers? Will it be done on programming level or server level? In general I need that if one server failts that the other server would change failed one. I need to have the database which would be separated too. Thank you for your help.

You may want to consider load balancing since it would provide the same functionally and fault tolerance.

Well, in Windows, lots of options. Two load balanced web servers with content replication at the OS level, or perhaps DFS, or central data storage on a SAN or NAS depending on your application. For the database, you can have an active/passive MS SQL cluster which will provide automatic failover. Data in the cluster would be stored on a SAN.
