Some sites not accessable via web browser.
Posted by optimumd, 05-01-2008, 06:15 PM After rebooting my server I can access SSH, FTP, and Cpanel, but only half the sites on the server come up in the web browser. Apache is running, I tried rebuilding apache just incase, yet still half my sites are not accessable. I'm not getting any errors attempting to restart bind or apache. I ran /scripts/rebuildnamedconf and it seemed to fix the problem for about 5 minutes as all the sites were again accessable but alas the problem seems to be back. Anyone have any pointers?
Posted by activelobby4u, 05-01-2008, 06:35 PM seems like a name server issue. Is your name servers closed ?. Whats in the logs ?
Posted by optimumd, 05-01-2008, 06:48 PM Recursive nameservers, nothing worth of note in the error_log file. No errors when bind or apache start. It almost seems like some people are being locked out as in an issue with the httpd.conf file, but I have tried many combinations with no effect.
Posted by RHS-Chris, 05-01-2008, 08:18 PM Are you sure those sites are pointing to your servers? Whats does http://intodns.com say for the affected sites.
