Iptables (or similar) INPUT proxy
Posted by WW_P, 08-24-2011, 05:01 PM If wrong here please move) It might sound weird, but i need to do this. I have IP_A (eth0:1), IP_B (eth0:2) and IP_C (eth0:3) When i traceroute IP_C i get MYCORE.ISP then IP_C (as usual) - However, i need to have ALL traffic going to IP_C over IP_A an IP_B. (IPs replaced, used cleary visible IPs for A B and C - ignore the ping times) This is normal: This is how i need it: All INCOMING traffic needs to go through A and B before reaching C - OUTGOING can go directly, that is not important. Filtering ports etc is not needed, ideally it should be completely rerouting everything without interfering. IP_A and IP_B are currently bound as eth0:2/eth0:3 but i can unbind them and do not require them for anything else than this. More IPs are also available if needed. OS: Debian 6 x64/64Bit It does not need to be iptables, i can use any software for this. Any help would be appreciated, i and google did already run out of ideas it seems Zhang

Posted by iTom, 08-25-2011, 01:26 PM Why are you trying to do this?... Are all of the IP's (IP_A, IP_B, IP_C) in the same logical subnet?
Posted by WW_P, 08-25-2011, 01:31 PM Not important, i just need it done Yes!
