Linux VPS Graphical Interface

| Hi,
I have a Linux vps (CentOS 5.5) i still can reformat and change it to other Linux OS,
What i have is an (IP + Username + Password) to connect through the putty software , I'm not really into commands of the Linux and i really want to make it a vps with Interface OS!! so please help me out here to make this vps running a Graphical Interface.

| likely that the server doesnt even have x installed, nor running, and you probably dont have any option to install it without logging in via putty/etc.
which means theres no gui to even try to connect to. linux doesnt need a gui. it just slows the server down.
perhaps try webmin?
its a free web-based gui to manage serverey type stuff and would probably cover everything you want
still requires ssh to install, but its a once off you might be able to manage
otherwise your only other option may be to look at cpanel / plesk.

| Virtualmin would be your best bet. It is free and you will to manage your VPS through it.
If you don't have the expertise to install it, you are sure to find someone on WHT to do the initial hardening and setup for for you.
