Need help with VPS SHH tunneling
Posted by samform1, 01-16-2016, 10:10 PM Hello, Ive bought a VPS which is based on ubuntu linux and wish to use it on my windows 7. I have used putty and logged in though now confused how to be able to operiate it via windows? SSH tunneling to my windows so i can use the vps is this possible and how? Ive tryed to look on youtube and various websites but can't seem to find the answer how to use the vps via windows. Im new to using this and any help would be much appreicated. Thanks
Posted by anuja9991, 01-16-2016, 10:27 PM If you want to access your server from the windows, the putty is the option here. But you must be familiar with the command line of the linux. I think, you want to know how to use graphical interface of the linux via windows if this is the case you need to have VNC viewer installed on your windows and on your linux vps you need to have vnc server installed.
