Two Redirect Question

First question is that for example we having our site on some folder in root folder like www.site.com/blog but we want that whenever any one browser www.site.com then it will directly go to this folder www.site.com/blog Second question if some one put url like www.site.com/333333333333 here 333333333333 doest exist then how can it happen that it will automatically go to www.site.com incase if some one put the folder name which doesnt exist.
