a server part of a DNS cluster is not syncing
Posted by madpato, 06-16-2008, 10:27 AM hi guys I have a small dns cluster with 4 servers, the problem is that when i want to update a dns registry one of them doesnt sync, i have to try like 6 or 8 times to get that server to sync with all the others, and im concern because the one who gets trouble to sync is my secondary dns server Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Posted by ub3r, 06-16-2008, 10:35 AM Maybe a firewall's blocking a connection, or the connection is weak in another way? Checked the appropriate log files?
Posted by madpato, 06-16-2008, 11:46 AM i checked log files... nothing out of normal, its strange cuz they are in the same datacenter enven on the same server rack so i dont think it might be a firewall/connection -.-
