Its a command prompt...

Right, OK. What can I do to fix/change this? Thanks.

Theres nothing broken. Its working fine. Its totally standard. If you want to change the prompt then look up the PROMPTING section of the bash man page

You can fix that by turning it off and walking away. How long have you been in business without using a command prompt??

Somehow you or your client have erased the '/root/.bashrc' or '/root/.bash_profile' files and that is the reason why you are getting that 'error'. To resolve this you will have to copy those files to your '/root' directory again. To do that you will have to do the following: cp /etc/skel/.bash_profile /root/ cp /etc/skel/.bashrc /root/ That's it.

It's working now, thank you very much P.S. Now why could you lot up above just do what RoseHosting has done? thought this area of WHT was for people to help each other that encounter problems.. Thanks.

Because the problem is so simplistic that most people would be smacking you around with a keyboard at this point. Honestly, if you don't know how to fix that, which is quite trivial, mind you, then people are going to be quite critical of your abilities (or inabilities) to run a hosting company in a proper manner.
