Stupid whois question....

Stupid whois question.... On two seperate boxes (both CentOS, but in different datacenters) I get two different sets of whois data returned from using the command line whois tool. One is the full data and one is the limited. Different whois servers were used, looks like: Quote: [root@ispy-softlayer ~]# whois webhostingtalk.com [Querying whois.verisign-grs.com] [whois.verisign-grs.com] Quote: root@ispy-lweb [~]# whois webhostingtalk.com [Querying whois.internic.net] [Redirected to whois.godaddy.com] [Querying whois.godaddy.com] [whois.godaddy.com] That might explain the discrepancy. __________________Did you know WHT has a help desk? That is odd, but about half the time I check a domain directly at GD it asks for human verification. Related, perhaps. __________________Did you know WHT has a help desk? Have a forum? Let's face it, you need help.
