From Windows to Unix Reselling

Hi, From my 11 accounts I got at ReadyHosting, I only need Windows 2000 on two of them (because of using MS databases), and want to move into reselling Unix for the rest. Can I move the MX records (email only) into a Unix reseller arrangements, and then I will move the 9 accounts completely, that don't need to be in a Windows server. Thanks in advance.

That is pretty easy to do if you know how to change MX records. Give yourself 24 hours for all the other server's cache's to clear before using the new server as your primary. I am sure ReadyHosting can set that up no problem for you and should be able to make it so that all of your email arrives in the same place.

Thx, not to easy if I rely on ReadyHosting service tickets, these days, but probably I can do it from my registrar??? On the other hand, I am very sensibilized with the service received there that could make my clients go looking elsewhere. There are comments on this fine forums of a couple of reseller companies, the ones I hear most are: mchost, splashost, VO, and a little etc. I am not looking only on price, but basing on reliability good web based support and if something goes wrong, I appreciate being told before, and not afterwards, as has been my case with Readyhosting. I am aware that things can go wrong if one is getting a good deal, also, if one pays good money that could be solved. I am not looking for price, but need a reliable company for the next years to come. Thanks for your answers.
