Sorry, you really haven't told us enough to receive any meaningful advice. Step back a little and explain what you're trying to achieve, as well as how you see the two servers interacting.

Hi, You cannot split a dedicated server into 2 dedicated server directly. You can split it into a KVM machines, which is as good as dedicated servers. You can create your single dedicated server into a KVM hardware node and you can create the VPS on it according to your specification you said. Hardware virtualization could be the answered, unless you want to explain in detail what exact you want to have.

Hello, Yes what i mean split it into 2 different server (Ubuntu 15.04 ) 2 different ip KVM VS openvz ? solusvm ? Server 1 should be using PHP/MySQL , Forum Server 2 Should be using PHP/MySQL for Application that will use some ressource/cpu Last edited by JohnGrag; 01-17-2016 at 08:23 AM.

I am not sure if SolusVM allows the latest versions of Ubuntu or CentOS. However, I am 100% sure that OpenVZ instead of SolusVM supports the most latest version of both CentOS as well as Ubuntu, thus, making it easier for you to chose your preferred OS on the primary server.

Only 3 OS is supported for SolusVM (CentOS 5/6, RHEL 5/6, and Scientific Linux 5/6). In fact, there are many things before you choose. SolusVM is a master-slave type setup, so if you want to use KVM. A master node is a must have one and on a SolusVM Master you can only have OpenVZ and no KVM. You can have KVM installed on other slave node. This will increase your cost of production if you wish to go with KVM. If you want to have KVM with SolusVM, you will need the following: 1. One server or VPS for master solusvm. 2. Second dedicated server only for KVM. If you only have one server and want to utilize it only for KVM, then you can go with Virtualizor where it does not have any master-slave type. You can have KVM on the main server and virualizor on the same. If you ware okay with only using OpenVZ, then you can go with SolusVM too.
