Comparing Three Places.. which is best?

Hi, I have been reading these forums for a long time, and want a reseller account. (before anyone starts anythin about me not knowing what; i've had some experience but just dont want to have a ded server yet) I have looked at: Netacore Reseller Packages LavaHost Reseller Packages Edge-Host Reseller Packages Those three are the ones that interest me soo far. I have looked at loads other but don't really like 'em. I've worked it out with the packages I'll be selling, and I've taken my smallest package and have found the profit I'd be making (If I chose the SMALLEST reseller package with each host) Netacore: $35 Edge-Host: $40 LavaHost: $102 (That's an astounding amount of prof. for Lavahost!! ) I like 'em all a lot. I've e-mailed all three and they all have really nice servers. I'm not mainly goin for prof. as the more customers I have obviously the more prof. I have, but which is best in support, quality, etc. ??? Any people with any of them? Any info. about any would be most appreciated. thanks please peeps, i aint really interested in others- just these three; please don't post any other ones... i wont really take notice

Try using the search tool located at the top right. As for edgehost, I am currently with them (I've forgotten how long I've been with them, but over three months for sure). I am having some problems with their support (or their lack of) as some of my tickets go unanswered for weeks. I've directed this issue to their direction but have gotten no improvements in terms of time my support tickets get answered (I think there is something wrong with my account at their perldesk). Though I do love the way the support listens to their clients without putting the blame on them, or putting them down. We get downtime approximately once every two weeks, ranging from half an hour to a few longer. It's not that bad, especially for the price I am paying them. But like all hosts, there are some areas that could be improved. Hope that helps.

Netacore wouldn't be the choice. Their after sales support aren't that good.

you have to spend a few days really researching and listening. and there are other firms also Mike

You best bet would be to spend a while around here and get a few more names and maybe look for some feedback. There is plenty of feedback on the hosts you listed above. You could also maybe ask for suggestions in the reseller forum and ask people that have been with there provider for a while (not 2 weeks) so you can get some solid feedback.. Alot of times you will hear good reviews from a member who has only been with them less than a month and they end up coming back a month later ranting about downtime etc.. good luck!

pay-bas, i am not offering our services, but i can say that we have had several clients move to us from edgehost and netacore. they complained about lack of support with both companies and about excessive downtime with edgehost. as for lavahost, none of our clients mentioned moving from them, so no info. i could say something about how a company can not be good when its pricing is too low, but i guess you already knew that. dont mean to bash anyone, its an economic fact, plain and simple. cheers, paul

norm, do you feel what i said was inapporpriate? i stated what i was told and based on my dealings with the persons involved i have reason to believe their statements are credible. ultimately, it is up to the readers to decide how much value they wish to place on the comments i realyed. however, if you think i shouldnt have said what i said or should have worded it differently, please contact me via pm or any methods in my signature. i certainly did not intend to 'bash' anyone and would like to keep my posts ethical. regards, paul

Hey Rusko, I'm so glad our 1 or 2 ex - customers provided you with so much insight on Netacore. I wish you all the best
