Zend optimizer charge via cpanel?

I did an update to Apache via WHM and selected Zend & installed it.. I then find something on another forum saying they charge $960... Is this true? If so, why have I never been charged this before. I've had Zend on my servers for quite a while installed by admins managing my updates from theplanet and such.

No installing Zend is absolutly free.

Thanks for the quick response. What would cause such rumors for charging for their software? Their TOS does seem a bit more 'professional' than other software, so I expected some sort of a charge, but nothing of $960!

I am not sure with the forum about which you are mentioning. But normally installing Zend is not a big task and it is free. If you are having a cPanel server you can make use of the following script for this. /scripts/installzendopt
