Posted by dave.mcl, 04-25-2003, 09:42 AM Guys/Girls, Do the hosts you use provide redundancy in their hardware setup. - Redundant Power, RAID etc I havent made a call yet on who to go with but was thinking about secondary MX, multiple DNS servers etc This info isnt readily available on Hosts sites. Posted by LightWeb, 04-26-2003, 01:23 AM As a general rule, if a host is using a RAID, they will be using that as one of the main selling points. Multiple DNS are likely in the same physical location. Most have generator backup power, but not dual power supplies on the server. I think the secondary MX is a tough one to get arranged. All the above is available, you should expect to pay 30 - 60% more than for standard.
