ASP & PHP Reseller

| Can anybody advise me of good resellers that offer both ASP (MS Access) and PHP (mySQL) support? I need about 1-2GB disk space, 20GB bandwidth. I had a look at Dathorn and Citadel, which look excellent, but they only offer PHP it seems.

| Paul, PHP was created to be Linux-based, and as such the Windows version of PHP doesn't have CHMOD, which means that many of the scripts used will not work as well on Windows.
ASP is basically Windows-Only, as it is intended and will probably remain for a long time. You can get linux versions of ASP but not as complete and obviously without the MSSQL and Access abilities.

As I understand it, www.hostopia.com has packages that combine linux and windows features and has developed its own control panel.
So you can have php and asp in the same package. Not sure what you give up in terms of functionality but I would say you gain overall by having both in one package.

| There are also companies who will allow you to split 1 reseller account between more than 1 server. I would encourage you to check out that option too.

| Our hosting solution allows you to run Windows ASP and PHP in the same environment on the same web page.
To summarize you can run Windows ASP in our environment and take advantage of all of the file management functions of Linux PHP including CHMOD.
