Need some guides
Posted by Bluz, 09-29-2009, 11:55 AM I need some guides on setting up a new dedicated server, the OS is cent os 5.3 and ive just been having alot of trouble... I've found complete guides on how to do a few things but they wern't much help... I need to install lighttpd mysql pure-ftpd php (and all of it's modules) and what else am I missing? Please help with a link to a good guide on these Or I can pay someone to do this for me let me know. Sorry if this is the wrong section.
Posted by Axcelx, 09-29-2009, 02:10 PM I would first erase all currently installed programs and start from scratch. If you don't have the expertise sometimes its best spending a few dollars depending on budget to get it done for you and save the time/aggravation. But its a GREAT learning experience. I would ultimately erase the programs above and re-try the howto's.
