CSF & Shoutcast going down
Posted by anastasia0181, 11-14-2009, 08:23 AM Hi there, Since I installed CSF firewall on the server, my shoutcast goes down from time to time. I can see the shoutcast process running,I allowed the ports 8000 and 8001, flushed the IP tables. but It gives the error: Current Stream Information Server Status: Server is currently down. Can you please help me. I am running a Centos server with WHM. Thank you in advance.

Posted by PCS-Chris, 11-15-2009, 01:54 PM Are you using any 3rd party software/WHM plugins to run shoutcast? CSF won't cause shoutcast to randomly die so it's likely something else. When it does down, see if the process is running. Assuming you havn't renamed it run: ps aux | grep sc_serv
