HostSupreme.co.uk - Anyone had any experiance?

Posted by Acid-Host.co, 06-16-2003, 06:32 AM
I am currently resselling for hostsupreme, and at the begging they seemed good. I have a brilliant deal with them, always get full customer support, but I am very worried about their server downtime and mistakes they make. In total since I started resselling for them The servers I have been on and have been down for about a month in total, they were down all last week. Anyone had any experiance with them before?

Should It matter if anyone else here has had experience with them. You yourself have had at least 1 months experience and had a 1 week stretch of downtime... not acceptable.

I have to agree. You could have the best support in the world but if your site is not up, then you may need to look elsewhere. Remember, as a reseller, you are only as good as your hosting provider...if they are down, you are down and that's how your clients will see it. Jay

I know, thats why I have decided to move, and now not to be a resseller.

Hi Please allow me to clear up this issue. Acid Host - is actually a reseller who was given free hosting under a great deal with us as he mentioned. What he failed to mention was that later on, he was persistantly contacting our staff with racially offensive comments continuously under the influence of alcohol or otherwise. It was due to this that his account was indefinitely removed after previous warnings and suspensions. The server he was on was not down at all. This thread was forwarded to us by one of our much satisfied and loyal customers, so I offer you the above explaination in defense of HostSupreme. Ben was given much notice and cautioning in advance of all suspensions, but his behaviour persisted in an unsuitable mannor and for the sake of our staff his account was terminated. If you already knew it, why did you chose to open this thread and ask for suggestions ? When you open the thread you mention you are reselling for them..in your second post you say you ain't doing it any more No good reason..and you start bashing a host just because they didn't worked out for you due to your offensive behavior. A week's downtime looks like an exaggerated statement..& I'm sure if they had been down for almost a week..their clients would have come to WHT yelling & complaining. Either you are their only customer...or you are wrong

Is there a reason this 7 month old thread is being dug up?

OMG !!... Its 7 months old...I didn't even see the thread date

I used to be a customer of Acid-Host and I know for sure that this is not true His account was terminated ONLY because he didn't renew his account after the one year (that he prepaid) was over. Your servers were down all the time. Titanium kept crushing and Sodium was hacked and many customers lost their websites. After Sodium was hacked Ben moved to Lyrical (windows) and Logical (Linux), in which he didn't experience downtimes at all btw, and he stayed there until his one-year deal was over. And I also just want to point out that none of your "much satisfied and loyal customers" forwarded this to you, but you were just desperate for clients and so you came to this forum to promote yourself and found this topic. HOSTSUPREME SUCKS!

Hi Elad I dont know what you have been told by Ben or anyone at the reseller company, but your site was deleted BECAUSE it was drawing attention from unknown groups/individuals as a target for hacking attempts. With regards to Titanium - The Server was with the DialTone Datacentre. With poor server performance we had encountered and a failed hard drive (which was restored from backups) we decided to move you to another server. Whatever deal you had with AcidHost i dont know. If you feel we provide a poor service, thats your right to say so, but i dont feel you are judging HostSupreme justly as i believe you know Ben on a more personal level so your opinions are likely to be bias. They appear to be more out of spite than any actual dissatisfaction. Regards <<< Signatures need to be set up in your profile. >>> Last edited by SoftWareRevue; 01-14-2004 at 04:07 PM.
