This server keeps crashing and requires hard reboots. Logs suggest memory. Any idea what lbmon process is? Thanks

It is correct that the 'lbmon' process is using high amount of memory and it doesn't look like a cPanel installed application but it's not the only process that is hogging up the memory. You can trace out the process by listing the files the PID of lbmon is using lsof -p PID_of_lbmon You can also check for previous logs at /var/log/dcpumon/ directory.

Hello, Seems some 'applications' like lbmon and exim4 are consuming your memory. You should check whether anyone sending spams from your server, that could cause load on server.

you definitely optimize your server. many times the server seems to be crashed after the services started using the hddd as memory after filling out RAM. If that is the case it should not happen ..always better and safe to optimize your server to keep the usage within the RAM check free -m at a loaded stage for a simple figure
