| need the following for small amateurish-targetted adult webhosting outfit;
-personalized name servers
-cPanel/WHM or something similar to add/remove domains and create FTP accounts
-adult content allowed

| Many hosts allow Adult content but don't advertise it. I was reading a thread here about same topic about a month back.
Most hosts are not concerned about moral, ethical reasons as long as its legal. But adult hosting does draw up somewhat of a security concern...and some hosts Disallow specifically for security-reasons. Its the same reason for disallowing IRC hosting as well.
So, make a shortlist of hosts and check their TOS, its mentioned in there...don't go by adult-advertisers only or you will limit your options.

| I disagree about the security part. Your boxes should be secure regardless of the content served.

| Well, kneadingu...since you disagree, you could perhaps make a guess as to why almost all hosts do NOT allow IRC hosting. Does everyone of these webhosts simply have insecure servers
Simply speaking, your disagreement not withstanding, no server is ever completely safe. And commercial hosting cos. avoid hotspots simply for the reason that they are not out to bait hackers. And experience of hosts shows that IRC and Adult hosting draws the most DOS and hacking attempts followed by sites with racist content.
