Installing pptpd vpn on Ubuntu 9.0.4

Hey guys, So I'm trying to setup a vpn on my server. I've gone with pptpd (since openvpn is the most unfriendly application on the planet!) Now I've set it all up. Everything seems to be working flawlessly. I can connect to the vpn however I cannot access the internet. I can ping the servers ip but not much more then that. I've followed these guides: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=283067 http://poptop.sourceforge.net/dox/di...rwarding.phtml (last step doesn't work for me :/) But for the life of me, I cannot figure out whats wrong. I only got the server yesterday so its a fairly vanilla OS. Can anyone shed any light on this ordeal? I Appreciate all help

Hi Matsta, Did you setup the correct gateway? If you try to ping yahoo.co what do you get? timeout?
