Dedicated Reselling (Nocster)

This question is geared towards those who resell dedicated servers. I'm considering applying to become a BurstNET/Nocster reseller (still in the very early research phases). On their reselling page I noticed: So a client orders a dedicated package from me, for which I set the price, and then I sign up manually at Nocster and then Nocster bills me? Also, what level of support does Nocster provide? Is it reliable? I want to provide a completely managed solution, so support for my clients will be the #1 priority. I need to understand what types of things I need to be ready for. Thanks everyone!

I haven't dealt with nocster/burstNet however it is similar to superbservers I would assume. With superb it works as you mentioned above, we set out own price and then the customer pays us, at which time we put in the order to superb and then they send me the information for the server and I pass it on to the customer. It is pretty straight forward, the only part you might need to watch is when you sell a server you may have to pay right away, and if you are accepting credit cards for instance if it takes more then a month for you to receive your money you will need to have the funds to pay.. Just something to consider... Hope it helps.

Thanks for that What payment processor and billing management software do you use if I may ask?

Because our company is located in Canada we don't have many options with payment processors so we went with paysystems. However if you are going to resell more then 3 or 4 servers a real merchant account might be best, there are a few people on here that sell these or give them free. Personally I will be going to PSIgate likely as they allow Canadians. Billing management right now is done manually as I haven't found a very good program to handle servers... However paysystems is set up for recurring payments so that is mainly handled. Let me know if their is anything else I can answer for you.

Thanks again. Has Superb treated you well? It looks as if you get up to 40% off as a reseller, that's a pretty good turnaround!
