register domains by php, or html posts...

My company is selling websites/space, and I am wondering if we can submit a requested domain name and have the domain name registered if it exhists, or return an already requested error, for me to deal with in php. Any ideas on who would support this? All we need is the domain name registered, and our nameservers will all be the same.

Yea.. You can do this.. I have no clue how to program it, but any registrar will support it as long as you program the module. Systems like modernbill already have this ability included in their software

ModernBill uses eNom's API very well. MB also has quite a few other registar modules that, I'm told work great. I think it would be easier and less time consuming to use something that has already been developed instead of create your own.

You can integrate an API from Enom, Cheap Domains or Domain People into your site as a reseller.
