Good SSL?

Posted by MannDude, 07-04-2010, 02:31 AM
Hey everyone, I installed a SSL certificate from Comodo, and was curious as to why this SSL certificate provides Firefox and Google Chrome warnings when accessing the page associated with it? Example: https://surmounted.net/ (Last night https://surmounted.net/clients was working, now its not. But htts://surmounted.net displays surmounted.net/clients ) Keep in mind, this page is not linked to from the site so currently it is not 'active'. Do you get an error when going to that link? Would a better SSL Certificate remedy this problem?

It's not your SSL Certificate, Comodo is just fine. You need to update your WHMCS site address (make sure it includes https) in the admin area. Your images are being loaded from non-ssl addresses, thus you will see those warnings.

Ok, just making sure. I wanted to test it before I made the switch in WHMCS, but I didn't want to switch if those errors and messages would appear to visitors. Much thanks,
