My 18 Months experiences as a reseller

Posted by Farhad, 12-19-2004, 11:57 AM
This is a review on the companies I've been with them in these 18 months. Please note that it's a long time I've left some, so may be now everything in different. Only wanted to share my experience: 1. Surpasshosting: The worst experience I've had on net at all! At that time I was with them I found the server unstable, the stuff non-expert and rude! This is the only company I’ve had problem with! I hope everything has changed there now. 2. Sultanhost: I was with them around 6 months and now it's around 9 months I've left. At that time, the server was ok and the support was acceptable. The most reason I left was that I needed higher plan which I found with less price. 3. Bitstreamhosting: Being with them around 8-9 months until 3 months ago. I had taken a special offer last december, so the price was so good. The uptime and reliability was ok, but not the support. You see, we used to have a problem every 2-3 months, but it didn't worth to be all the time under stress. It used to take several hours to answer a simple ticket or reboot. 4. Dathorn: I guess there are a lot about them here. If their plans fix your needs it's ok. Everything is acceptable there. I’m keeping one account with them which doesn’t need a huge bandwidth. 5. Bliksemhosting: Now it's around 4 months I'm with them, and can call it my best experience as a reseller. The server I'm on is really stable; in these 4 months we have been announced about the problems on it twice, but once even we didn't note it. The support has been extraordinaire for me; I've submitted a few tickets and always with low priority, but each time it's been answered in less than half an hour and I've received helps more than I expected. I highly recommend them. Last edited by Farhad; 12-19-2004 at 12:02 PM.

Havent heard of bliksemhosting before. How long have they been around? I saw they are giving away dedicated servers... =) , lucky draw? Joshua

As I know, they are very young. That made me move my clients one by one, during 2-3 weeks to avoid any problem, but right now I'm happy.

eems to me liek your website is hard to navigate. You have a compare plans, but the plans are titled BHR Plans BHRAP Plans Semi-Dedicated however on the order page they are titled BHR1 BHR3 BHR5 etc. Also on your reseller comparison page their is a link to http://bliksemhosting.comtxnoc.html/... i think it should be http://bliksemhosting.com/txnoc.html

I would say their sales and tech support are very good. Prompt replies on sales enquiries.

I agree with you Skot , I got lost in there man... but the layout and design is nice. Just that the content is a bit confusing. Joshua

I guess 14.99 US is a bit more for only 2 GB of space as per my needs. Besides 4 months is a little less to tell. they havent been in business even a year yet. Though I will keep a watch on their pricing and more reviews looking at the good words of a few of you guys. And I could shift to them if they increase the space.

2gb for 14.99 sounds perfectly reasonable I pay that for half the amount of space. JOna

paying the same for ½ as much seems even more reasonable

Could not of said that one better myself. Of course you got to take stability, uptime, support, customer service, as well as many other things into account so in many cases it may very well be reasonable. -Justin

I had a good experience with z555.com when I was doing reselling, always avail over im for technical issues, and its almost like they never metered the bw at all.. only thing is some servers used cpanel, some used ensim, and I had reseller accounts on three different servers, kinda made it a pain in the ***.. anyone else ever used them?

Does BliksemHosting.com provide telephone support and private label packages?

Posted by BlikWerk, 02-01-2005, 06:44 AM
Hello, We do not offer phone support at this time. We do maintain a 30 minute average response to support tickets. We do offer private label reseller hosting. Thanks
