why yrhost.com is a Bad ! host

| I've been hosting my sites for about 5 years now..
I've used yrhost for not even one year and I've had more down time with yrhost then my other 4 years that I've used other host..
and I'd be using the same host that I did b4, but some of them are fighting in Iraq..
anyways I'm pretty pissed with them, and it looks like I'll lose some of my site because I haven't been able to get on my account for over 12 hours >:|
I've seen several thread with complaints about this host, and now I understand why..
I'll search this site for a new reseller account, but I strongly suggest to anyone thinking about yrhost, to Never use them unless u like downtime with no explanation...

| Yeah, I just did a search on them and their reviews seem pretty bad... :| Is your site still down, if so have you tried contacting them to see what the problem is?
Non the less, take a look in the offers section because no one should have to deal with constant poor service... let YRHost dig their own grave.

| Back when I was with them, I was fairly happy that I had someone responded to my emails. I was hosting my first site (I wasnt a reseller yet). I had 1 domain on my account. months later I added another one. Few months after that their server got hacked. They basically lost their data. They tried a restore from backup. Restore they did, but my second site was totally gone. Not sure where, I never bothered asking because that was when I decided I should get a more responsible provider.

| You mean you couldn't connect to your control panel? 'Cause your sites were working each time I checked them, including minutes after your post here.
Anyway, while a 12 hours control panel downtime might be somewhat upsetting, this is a much more serious issue IMO:

Do they backup yearly or something? :|
I know my servers backup every 4am. I've found its the quiet time for the bulk of the servers... And sometimes I feel things change too much, so I should backup twice a day... Using rsync anyway, so I could ideally backup more times a day - but havnt bothered yet.

| this weekend was the last straw from me, I have 2 site emails account that I and my wife uses for business.. and we haven't been able to get emails from some providers,, hotmail and who know what others..
the site has never given a reason.. always said it was fine..
anyways I'm not hosting by a fellow webmaster friend that I've helped on his site for almost as long as i was on ryhost..
anyways I highly suggest everyone to star away from this comp...
