Reseller Requirements After two weeks of painful seeking I am yet to find a reseller who can meet my simple requirements and I was wonder if anyone in this forum could help me out. Here are my requirements requirements: Well establish company Provides good reseller support (reseller specialists) AS a enom PDQ type of setup that supports the following (this is not a must) Supports .ca and .co.uk cc domain extensions Multicurrency support (Not just US dollars) Provides reseller end user support options. Am I dreaming or do any of you girls/guys know of such a reselling company. Of course I know that many of you veteran resellers out their may know a better way than just trying to get setup with just one reseller. Your comments would be welcome. Keep Smiling daveha

Hi. I don't have a specific company for you, but I would suggest further clarifying your requirements. The ones you have are more qualitative than quantitative. Quantify what "well established" and "good reseller support" mean to you and others will be more able to point you in the right direction. You might also try the offers section of the forum. I don't know about the domain extentions, but given the rest I would say that there are good providers on this forum that would be able to provide those. David

Thanks for your replies Good reseller support would mean a company which as a well established network of resellers which it provides good after sales support and service. These could include training, reseller specific forums, account managers and documentation. Well established would be an organization which as been around multiple years or is part of a group which as been in the industry for many years and as a good reputation in providing robust and inventive products and services. My situation is that I would like to start up a small hosting company based in Canada. My strategy is to start marketing locally to build a local client base and then move more nationally. I would like my whole buying processes to be automated. As I am in Canada I would like to offer .ca domain names and sell my services in Canadian Dollars. I am originally from the United Kingdom and I have many contacts over the pond so I can see myself moving that way in future. Hence .co.uk Unfortunately most companies that offer complete reseller services offer only US dollars as part of their turn key portals or don’t offer much in the way of cc extensions. Customer support is something I would like to have on offer from a reseller as well as I can see this being a pain once I start to get some clientele. I may have to take for example an enom domain reseller account for the cc extensions and use another hosting company for the main bulk of my services. Stay Lucky daveha

Hi In reference to currency, do you want to have the facility to bill your clients in different currencies? Also maybe find a host that sell the TLD's you want and host any TLD. (tld= .com, .ca etc)

Hmm, i'm not understanding this bit. A lot of hosting companies although costs may be stated in US dollars, they do offer the ability to pay in different currencies. For example we use 2checkout for credit card orders, and they let the customer choose what currency to pay in. Same goes for PayPal... Your requirements although vast, are reasonable. A budget you could supply us with would be nice to work with...

If the reseller is performing billing on your behalf then its US dollars (Go Daddy and ENOM PDQ) Reseller Club supports different payment engines and Currencies. Go Daddy = No .ca or .co.uk cc extensions and only US dollars Enom PDQ = only US dollars, no end reseller end user support Resellerclub = no .ca and .co.uk cc extensions, no reseller end user support My budget is large and I don't want to target the US market just yet daveha

To be honest I think you should look into starting by just being an affiliate. The big problem I see with your requests is it looks like you want the option of not being the first line of support. As far as I know if you want to be at the beach with the wife and kids and don't want to have to deal with someone who has just messed up thier dns settings is to just go affiliate and let them deal with it all... If I'm wrong someone will let you know I'm sure
