Advice re IPs - WHM

Hi folks I'm seeking advice /opinions from you experts, re IPs I have a new reseller acount which I'm preparing to migrate to from my (cheapo) oldreseller account. Although this is very much aimed at my Budget Clients, the clients do/will come from the small business sector, so it must be professional. Accordingly I've selected a new account, and purchased 2 IPs for the nameservers. My new provider has (very nicely done) copied all accounts (not many) to my new account so later on all I need to is change the IPs on my nameservers. Now this is where I want Independent guidance / advise / recommendations or just being told what is standard practice. Should my clients accounts (within in WHM) be set to My (nameserver) IPs. My providers IPs or should I get a 3rd IP just for my clients accounts ? Just to clarify, I'm (on this occassion) not looking for 'Best Practice' , just 'normal / standard practice' Cheers Brian

From what I have ever seen, if you have received 2 dedicated IPs for nameservers, you would likely use those for your clients as well. It makes things easier for them if you use nameservers such as ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com as well. You could probably handle it other ways, but if you don't want to be on your provider's IP's then the easiest and cheapest thing is to put them on the 2 you purchased.

Thanks Lubby for that, it's pretty much what I thought.
