We've run OpenVZ and Virtuozzo. Virtuozzo IMO is more applicable for the corporate environment. We run our backend servers for clients (DB, application servers, etc) on Virtuozzo and it has been pretty solid. We're slowly migrating them to vmware however as they have better backup solutions and seems friendlier to implement. If you're putting hosting customers on a box, openvz is fine you won't have any issues as long as you set it up right. To each his own
