Could people post their experiences / opinions about this reseller plan (ait.com)? Thanks!

I had a terrible time with AIT! I was with them for only 6 months and lost the few customers I had because of downtime. Their control panel is proprietary and it is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever seen. I had to cancel my credit card to keep them from continuing to charge to my card after I cancelled with them. BTW, they don't allow you to cancel with them. I know that sounds weird but check out this site: http://www.aitsucks.com and you'll read the horror stories others have had with them. Check out the BBB for them before you hand your credit card over to them. Companies like AIT should not be allowed to stay in business. Just my opinion....... AIT

I agree. Ive always wondered how co. are able to maintain BEING in business with such horrifying complaints. Not just ait, there are several! I remember wayyyy back here at WHT one of the first time members "Duster" had lengthy documentation of his dealings with ait. You'll find numerous reviews on them all over the net.

Well, the Big companies advertise in a Big way, and the customer usually does not suspect the offering till he has experienced the service levels himself.

This is exactly what happened to me. In my anger to find any information that could possibly help me I found WHT. Of course hindsight is 20-20. I wish I had found WHT before I had found AIT. I hope I can help at least one person from getting scammed by them!

I just got off the phone with Kevin Foster. At about minute 35 I asked him why still today there are soooo many complaints about AIT. He explained that WalMart gets complaint too. AIT has been far and away our biggest nightmare. We no longer have any hosting relationships with them. After spending thousands of dollars they would take us to task over six bucks; and they were in the wrong! Still, I see by reading these forums that others have had it worse?!

RUN, RUN as fast as you can, just click NO!!!!! ait is the worst hosting company on the face of the planet. I started out with them in 1999 when I left to get my own servers I had to cancel my credit card to get them to stop billing me. I say RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN....

AIT actually tell the CSTs (which are now "Sales Engineers" that are hired off the street with no previous technical experience) to basically say "No" when someone cancels. If you want to get your account cancelled, just go to your Online Customer Care Center and click the cancel link. It'll ask for a Sales ID, just put in a number less than 200 until it lets you through. Then you can cancel without a problem but they will still try and force you to pay more so be sure to change your credit card.

Funny you dug this old thread up. I received a call this morning from AIT asking me about my open account with them. He asked me if I still want it kept open since they noticed I had not logged in for quite some time. I asked the guy when he was going to close it and he went through the whole thing about in order to close my account how I have to go online and so on and so on..... So I told him I did that. TWO YEARS AGO!!!!!! And there was dead silence for about 10 seconds and then he said he would close it and thank you for using AIT. That company should not be allowed to exist!!! AIT
