DoS attack incidents or mail bombs on my server

I'm getting very high current load but i don't know what is causing that.

the server has very high load

post its output .
netstat -tulnap|grep 80
and try to track high process by top -Mc command .

Do you have a software firewall such as APF or CSF? If not, I would recommend installing one. My personal favourite is CSF. A software firewall doesn't stand a chance against large DDoS attacks, but if it's just DoS you're getting, a software firewall could make the difference.
To install CSF, go here: http://configserver.com/free/csf/install.txt
Once installed, make sure to configure it to your needs.

Which can be setup to stop attacks on the server?

Apache does not look like it is under an attack. Can we get a netstat and top view?
