Initial Innohosting Review

Posted by xionic, 02-12-2008, 04:41 PM
Brilliant experience so far! I've been with Innohosting less than a week (yes, I realize that's not really long enough to be able to properly judge their service) and I feel compelled to share my experiences so far. First a bit of background, I've been providing web and email services for my customers for several years. Over the years I've been reseller for a few hosting companies. One hosting company was sold off and support became non-existent. About a year ago I found a recommendation for ResellerNexus, and as other threads can attest, their track record for email services has gone steadily down hill. It was these issues that brought me back to WHT to once again begin searching for a new resellers account. I found a few good reviews of Innohosting (as well as others) and was impressed with how Rameen responded quickly and politely to each and every mention of Innohosting here on the forums. I sent them several pre-sales type questions that where all answered promptly within an hour or so of being submitted. I signed up for the business resellers account and was shocked at a) how quickly my account was set up and ready (less than an hour) and b) the quality and amount of documentation that was provided to me. I really get the feeling that not only does Innohosting want me to be their customer, they want me to succeed as a reseller! I requested that Innohosting migrate my resellers account from my previous provider to my account @ Innohosting and again, within hours the accounts were fully migrated. Email, databases, client DNS settings; everything was moved as promised. I've opened up a few support tickets in the last week (questions regarding database settings, migration questions, etc) and I've come to the conclusion that Chris and company must be psychic. In the case of the certain ticket regarding database settings, the ticket was answered and resolved within minutes of it getting posted! (I actually thought that it had gotten closed automatically by accident until I viewed the ticket and realized that Chris had already answered my question!) So, one week into this and I've never been so impressed with a company. Everything I have experienced with Innohosting so far has been professional, polite, and friendly. Quite a different feeling from other companies where I've often felt 'buyer's remorse' shortly after becoming a customer. I'll post a follow-up in six months (feel free to bug me if you don't see it) To Rameen, Chris and the folks @ Innohosting: Keep up the great work! <> Last edited by anon-e-mouse; 02-13-2008 at 02:38 AM.

Glad to see that you've found good company! Innohosting is a very good host. But like you mentioned one month let alone one week is just too short a time frame for a meaningful review. Come back at 3,6 and 12 months and keep us posted.

Hey, that sounds great, what plan are you signed up for with them? Keep us posted on your experiences with InnoHosting Last edited by Shaw Networks; 02-12-2008 at 10:35 PM.

More details on the plan I signed up for: (details current as of 02/12/2008) The Business Reseller's plan includes 10GB disk space, 200GB bandwidth, and a whole slew of standard features that you would expect, and a few that you wouldn't (free rapidSSL cert, choice of ClientExec or WHMCS) <> Last edited by anon-e-mouse; 02-13-2008 at 02:37 AM.

After reading through the many posts about them i thought id drop them an email. The first response was given in around an hour but im still waiting for a response to my last reply for 7 hours now. Ive tried calling their number and choosing 704 for Sales but it just says they are unavailable and to leave a message so then tried 701 for support which after around 30 seconds gets cut off, which has hapenned 6 times now. Not looking good at all

Hi Our sales line is available from 1pm -> 8pm central (Monday to Friday). You are welcome to give a call then (if you would prefer to speak to me, use ext. 703 ) As for calling our tech support, we have been taking calls all day. I tried calling from an outside line and it got through fine? However feel free to PM me your ticket number for me to review. That said, I would like to clearly state that we do not operate 24x7 Sales dept. Sales dept. is open 9am till 8pm. It can take up to 24 hours for a response to sales questions. Only tech support is open 24x7x365 by both ticket support and telephone support. If you open a tech ticket, expect an average response of 15 to 30mins. If it's telephone, then it's instant.

Good review. They really are great. I've completed ONE month with them and I can say that am impressed. I'm not a guy who praises someone so easily but, InnoHosting left me no choice

I too have signed up and so far very impressed. Too early to give a full review but i look forward to doing so in the near future. Having said that it seems everytime i do give a positive review it all turns bad and i find myself looking for a new host

Great review and nicely written by a sincerely happy client.

I've been with innohosting for about a month. Again, not a long time, but so far, absolutely no complaints. I've been with many other shared-hosts and this is my first experience with a reseller, but I'm happy to say that their support has been helpful, though their documentation is a little lacking. Their servers are fast and I've had no outtages. So far so great!!

Posted by rv_irl, 02-18-2008, 08:17 PM
Hopefully we can change that trend Glad your enjoying our services! Appreciate the comments

So I'm three weeks into this with Innohosting (I'm the originator of this thread in case you missed that) and I thought I'd post a quick update about how things continue to go. Really, nothing new to report. Their service has been absolutely exemplary. Tickets I've opened have been responded to quickly and professionally. The only downtime I've experienced was a scheduled kernel upgrade that was announced a week prior to the upgrade. Downtime was minimal, and was detailed on their customer forums. Very informative! So far, so good!

Glad you have had a good experience. I went to Innohosting after reading many good things on this forum, signed up yesterday and so far nothing, over 24 hours waiting for the account to be set up and not a peep from them. I have sent a ticket to sales, and still nothing. I must say it is not the excellent service I was expecting.....

Posted by Mikey this way!, 02-27-2008, 05:58 AM
AFAIK their Sales/Billing is limited to Office Hours and Technical Support is 24 Hours.

Posted by willow1872, 02-27-2008, 06:37 AM
It could well be that the email has been blocked as i dont get any emails from them either for some reason. When you signed up though you would have created an account, you can use those details to login to their Support and view all the emails sent

Thanks for the great suggestion.. I have confirmed by logging into the client area previously and also checked on the status in the My Hosting Packages section, it is still showing as yellow for pending.

Posted by rv_irl, 02-27-2008, 07:22 AM
Hi, Can you PM me your full name so I can check it against our order queue?

Posted by digitaldw, 02-27-2008, 07:33 AM
Hi there. It seems I can not PM until I get a few more posts. Do you have access to tickets? the number is 5414 in the sales department and my order number and name is in there

Posted by rv_irl, 02-27-2008, 07:43 AM
Got it thanks I'm not sure how we missed that, but I've gone ahead and activated your account.. As compensation for the delay, we'll throw in an extra freebie. I will update your ticket with further details I hope this is a satisfactory resolution. If you have any concerns, feedback, suggestions or comments, then simply update your ticket

Hi IH-Rameen is the VPS dedicated that you offer: http://innohosting.com/vps.html Or is this old and you are able to offer other services, I am looking to move in the future (hopefully in the near) to a more managed dedicated server

Posted by rv_irl, 03-03-2008, 08:10 PM
Hi, Those VPS's are not currently on offer. We're revamping our VPS's and launching them again soon. However for those wanting one now, they are able to open a ticket with us for a custom quote

Posted by neil@ukwebhosting, 03-03-2008, 08:30 PM
I thought they was old pages ;-) No, that be ok, it won't be for a few months yet, that I would be looking to upgrade to one, I know you are probably still working on it, but are you able to just provide answers these questions on it if possibe :-) Will it be just VPSs you are planning or will it be dedicated aswell and will the be just US based or UK aswell!! Cheers!

Posted by rv_irl, 03-03-2008, 08:51 PM
Well, as always, we want to make sure anything released is done properly, so we will be taking the release of each slowly. Initially it will be just the VPS's. Custom configured dedicated servers are available, but stock ones will be introduced towards the end of the year (hopefully). UK based VPS is something high up on our list to be implemented. So we're hoping to introduce that during the summer.

Thanks a lot, the custom dedicated sounds very interesting and something I will be bearing in mind.

I have narrowed down my search for a reseller host to 2 companies Innohosting and Skynethosting, both seem to offer excellent deals.I am in N.Ireland and notice that innohosting offer servers in UK for a few dollars more although im not sure to what extend this would be better.thanks for submitting your review.all seems good.
