403 after a shared SSL instalation

Hey, I installed an SSL cert (Install SSL certificate and Setup the Domain) via root on WHM for a domain. But when I did that I was getting the 500 Internal Error, but I fixed that. Now 403 Forbidden is showing up. I ran this command: This is what i get when I open the page in the browser. I tried renaming the .htaccess, to .htaccess1 and creating a new one (blank) not with root. Also checked the permissions, they are 644 on both files. But it didn't help. Also its not an addon domain. Other sites are working fine. I have no idea what to do next, I cannot open HTML files nor download any zip, tar,etc... files. I searched the web but didn't find a fix... Do you guys have any solution? Thanks, Last edited by dzonidev; 04-03-2013 at 07:59 AM.

Is "/home/site/public_html/.htaccess" the corect path, or there is something like "/home/site/public_html/folder/.htaccess" ? Please check the "folder" where your file .htaccess is to be 755. Regards

The perms were 644, I also tried creating a new .htaccess file under the user account (NOT ROOT) but the outcome was the same. "/home/site/public_html/.htaccess" is the correct path, as i said its not an addon domain. The public_html folder was 750, I had to change that because i was getting a 500 error. I fixed the 500 error with this: I have changed it back to 755, I restarted apache and it seems to have worked. Thanks for the help!
