Kickstart server setup on windows?

Posted by TheGuardian, 01-25-2014, 03:14 PM
I'm familiar with the use of Linux to setup a kick-start server but I'm unsure if a Windows server can also be configured as a kick-start server? Ideally I would want it configured on win. 2012 server/datacenter edition. Also, can the server be setup as multi-tenant; meaning VPN users can still connect to there workstation, etc. I know it's asking a lot, but I was just wondering if it was possible

I'm sorry can you elaborate? I think you misunderstood me, if so please advise and I will elaborate/give a more clear and concise request.

A friend had Solaris Jumpstart from Windows DHCP etc. working years back - so even now kickstart serving likely works. I'm not so sure it also makes sense though. The VPN bit (you ask because one DHCP serving it all?) seems no problem but maybe i miss something.
