WHMCS or HostBillApp for Reseller hosting? What are your opinions?

I'm using WHMCS since 2008 and couldn't be happier with them. HostBillApp has several ajax while ordering a product. but i'll go for WHMCS if i'm going to use a unique theme.

I haven't tried HostBill, but based on my short experience with WHMCS, I would say: "You will like it if you go for it".

whmcs is the safe choice, but Hostbill is defo up and coming. We've seen a lot of clients going for Hostbill lately. D

HostBill is a marvelous product just missing some keen features. Example: I can't add custom ticket status. It just matters do you want the sweet client end. While you get the lower end of the stick in the admin area.

So does WHMCS: http://demo.whmcs.com/order http://docs.whmcs.com/Ajax_Order_Form

Several Ajax what, exactly?

I have to give my vote to WHMCS. While I see HostBill has been getting some good reviews as of late, it would take much more than that to consider ever changing from WHMCS. WHMCS does everything we need, is updated on a regular basis, and has a lot of 3rd party plugins.

I would say WHMCS is the safe choice, however if you want to be something a little different that works in my opinion just as well give HostBill a try and you can do custom ticket status's. http://cl.ly/1K462p3D3o0M1Z2h3n0r

No complaints with WHMCS so far.

I mean the Order Forms http://hostbillapp.com/#simple_order_form it's easy in HostBill to change the order form from product to another. Like reseller products can be totally different layout than shared hosting products in one click, no need for theme modification. check their demo: http://demo.hostbillapp.com/?cmd=cart each product has it's own form Flexible Cloud VPS | Shared Hosting | Dedicated Servers | One Step Checkout | VPS Hosting | SSL Certificates | Computer Services. STILL i'll go for WHMCS and hoping they'll add more forms.

1 for WHMCS. It is like a perfect software and easy to handle. Another plus point is that their support is very efficient.

Hi I am using whmcs since 4-5 years. If I have to make another webhosting company, I'd definitely go with HostBill. Hostbill seems interesting and its gui is very refreshing.

I'd stick with WHMCS. HostBillApp has some flashy order pages but besides that I don't see any advantage.

I like the ordering features of HostBill better but the administration side of WHMCS better! I have always used WHMCS until recently, where I am working to deploy HostBill. I will be sure to update here on which one I think rains supreme!

That will be an update I've started looking forward to it. I think HostBill need to be given a try too

Hostbill's flashy ordering system is trying to trick us, but I wont give up WHMCS. Hostbill's front end is good, but the back end is just as important and i don't think it can be compared to WHMCS's back end. - Daniel

The backend is very functional and just like VB I would rather have a better looking customer portal than admin portal. If it bills and does support you are golden honestly, their login share to Kayako is far superior also. Both applications are very good choices.
